Stay, rain, stay.

                                                         It's like someone's calling me.
I smell it even when I'm asleep
And awake from a substandard dream
To a perfectly ideal reality.

My eyes open to the light shining through
The window from where I look outside
And see the best sight i could ever see
Rain falling hard and well from the skies.

I rise from my bed and smile slightly
This weather's the only thing
That, right now, can re ignite me
It'll wet my head as I forget everything.

I walk on out of my safe haven
Onto the roads so wet and wild
I walk and walk till I'm drenched neck high
I giggle like a happy go lucky child.

I turn my head and see noone around
For the life of me I cannot fathom
How they can sit inside, dry and warm
And resist sticking into the rain their hand.

It's falling for us, it's falling, it's falling
The rain drops from the sky
How can you not be here
And just let the weather pass you by?

I walk along the road and see
A short circuiting street lamp, a fallen tree,
Even the yelping dog can't sadden me.
I trust God to make it all hunky dory.

Just the feel of the dripping rain
Takes over my mind, my body, my soul
I walk back in only because I'm called
For I enjoy the feel of the sickening cold.

I know not much, but i know this,
I'll love the rain, I always will,
But, only in the rain, the perfect kiss,
My anticipation for love will kill.

But until then, I'm satisfied
Moving joyfully in the damp wind
Ill dance and dance, and ill dance well,
And for that utmost perfection, I'll search, I'll find.
