Peace

Note: I wrote this a really long time ago. A very, very long time ago. 

When the world asks for peace
Some ask why
Some deny
While the ones in favour
Cry.

When civilians ask for peace
It provides an anger pill
For those terrorists wanting to kill
To think of their poisoned hearts
Makes me ill.

When we ask for peace
There is a reason behind it
The sane ones who still haven’t been hit
Realize the grief of the families
Of those of sadly faced it.

When citizens ask for peace
They request the revered leaders
To become feeders
And momentarily think of something else
But their own greed.

When one asks for peace
She acts differently
Than all those who cant see
The unnecesity
Of killing commoners, like you and me.

When he asks for peace
I believe there is hope
For there are others willing to cope
With the fight that inevitably arises
By supporting those who think like me.

When the world asks for peace 
It travels to a yearned world of fantasy
Where nothing is really very wrong
Where everything is pure and pretty
Where unneeded bloodshed hasn’t yet come along.

When the world asks for peace
It truly respects GandhiJi
And all those others who believed their could be
Total tranquility:
A world that is yet to be.
