I shared this picture on Facebook, and the following conversation ensued via the comments:
Me: Creepy but true. Oddly calming.
Random Friend #1: This happens to me all the time :(
Me: But I love the hopelessness it brings with it. As if to say, "It's over, just deal with it. Move on, and be dead." I quite like the peace it brings. Momentary, but wonderful.
Random Friend #1: I don't wanna die anytime soon. So for me, it's fear, not peace. x_x
Me: We're getting closer to death anyway, but when this happens, it's basically like having given up in a marathon; you stop running because someone already got the prize. You've accepted you've lost, and you've stopped competing. I don't know. But I can't help but love it.

Me: Yeah, optimism isn't my strong point, love.
Random Friend #2: :*
As it turns out, sometimes, Facebook is fun.
