Get over it

Every time something goes wrong, trying to investigate it makes you look like a creepy obsessed freak, and the worst thing in the world is when you start looking at yourself in that way as well.

Not many people realize the true merit of the phrase, “get over it.”

There is an unmentionable amount of good in just pushing it under the carpet for a while and moving on, and trying to focus on things that are more important i.e. things that make you happy.

Karma is a bitch, especially if you are one. But, you know that being a bitch isn’t right. It fills you up with hatred, with negativity. It becomes the only thing you think about and all you want to do is talk about how much you hate a particular person and how every single thing they do seems to annoy the hell out of you. But, the more you talk about it, the less chances you have of overcoming it.

If you don’t have anything good to say, it’s better you don’t say anything at all.

Sometimes all you need is to end an argument with the words, “Cool story, bruv.” It ends the argument because the person who’s been babbling for a while now knows that you don’t really care if he thinks he’s ‘beaten you’ because at the end of the day, you’re the one who gives the less of a shit, and nothing tops that, really.

Being there for your friends is an amazing feeling. What is not an amazing feeling is when you realize that they aren’t giving that back to you. Time to move on, bruv.

You can’t be friends with someone who differs with you on the fundamental issues of lifestyle, love, and thinking. Money can be dealt with and dealt out as well, so worry not about it. But if you’ve got a best friend who believes you are a slut, there will come a time when you both will get tired of being with each other.

Whatever it is, it can be forgotten. Get over it.
