"He might surprise you, love. Do something to convince you he's worth it."
"He won't. Not everyone is as romantic as Adi."

"Good past. That's what he gave you?"
"Yeah, sure. He was a good boyfriend-"
"Is that a conclusion you came to before or after you found out he used to open up about you to that immoral whore?"
"Aw, come on. He was a good boyfriend! He had the right ideas about romance, if nothing else. I'm not saying he implemented them very well, haha, if you know what I'm saying-"
"Uh huh, yeah, I gotcha-"
"But, he treated me well, for the most part."
"You've never talked about the good part of your time with him, you know?"
"Yes, I know that. And it's because the bad times just, sort of, overtook the good times. Look at the ratio. One month is to.. the rest of our friendship."
"Ah, that makes it sound gory! So, would you say he was good, whatever he was?"
"You could say that."
"I did say that, would you say that?"
"Yes, perhaps."
"Explain."
"Ugh, what do you want me to tell you?!"
"Whatever you like!"
"Why? Why can't we just focus on the present? Why can't we just focus on JJ?"
"Because, love, I'm afraid the present isn't going to match up to your past. I think the universe knows that. But, I don't want to be the one from the universe to have to show that to you. I don't want to be the one to tell you that the best thing about your life may always be...well, your past."

"No, that's not true. You needn't know. Atleast not right now."
